| i stood for 7 hours in times square today.. my back is hella tired. it
was cool tho. i wish we were up closer to the middle but that would
mean that we would have had to get there at three in the afternoon.
Knowing that i was within one block of regis philbin, mariah carey and
donald trump was good enough for me. there's so much more i can say
about it but i wont because im too tired. and all you guys are prolly
too drunk or hungover to read this.

| lolli's in new york! hardy har har. yesseroos im back here again. this
time to hang out in new york for new years. if i wanna watch the ball
drop i must get to times square by 6 and wait for another 6 hours...
that will be mighty horrible but we'll try. now time for a little recap
of my first 24 hours in new york:
after i arrived i went to walk around 34th street from my bros place
all the way down past the empire state building. along the way we saw
sum christmas lights on macy and their "miracle on 34th street" display
in the windows. we also passed by victoria's secret. didnt go in
because it was already closed but holy crap they had a lot of
mannequins in sexy positions all dressed up in little sexy things. a
must see, even if its from the outside. there was a crazy line up at
the empire state building. then we took the subway to times square. me
and my bro looked at the new years stuff they had set up. we were
scoping out sites for possible sites for us to wait at on new year's
eve. took sum more pics. pretty packed with tourists. then we kept
going up until we got to the ed sullivan theatre. oprahs "colour
purple" was just across the street so i stood there and sucked up some
oprah and david letterman air. then we walked up broadway until we hit
54th and took a look at Studio 54. that street is hella small... how
they could keep traffic moving while paparazzi filled the front
amazes me. now its just a theatre but 30 years ago that place was crazy
with all the famous people that walked through those doors. that was
the site of some major VD spreading. that was pretty much the first
night. i got all that done in about 4 hours so that was pretty good
today was the first full day in ny... tho i kinda wasted a good portion
not doing a whole lot. i woke up at 11 because some guy knocked on the
door. i ate some cereal then ate lunch with my bro. he had to go back
to work so i was all on my own. i walked down 34th again this time
going into shops that were closed last night. some pretty cool stuff
dunno whether or not i wannna buy tho. then i went down to soho to the
apple store. this apple store was crazy! way better than the yorkdale
one. the had a little lecture hall setup thing on the second floor
where they held info sessions on how to use your ipod or powerbook. it
looked like a university lecture with all these people sitting with
their laptops but this time they were all apples. almost every type of
ipod skin or case was there. that place sucked up almost 2 hours in
that one store. the nearby area had sum really cool stuff too. im
planning to go back there and buy things. then off to rockefeller. i
couldnt find one of the subway stations that would have brought me
there without a transfer so i ended up walking a bit more than i had to
but finally when i got there i saw the bigass christmas tree and the
the skating rink... the skating rink didnt look too appealling.
everyone was just skating in one direction in a circle. and the rink
isnt even that big. but i took some video and pics. when i was about to
leave there was a light show on the wall of a building facing
rockefeller so i stayed for that and taped it too. then i decided to go
and see the big snowflake on 57th and 5th so there was more walking. it
wasnt too spectacular but it was something to look at. this was already
around 5 or 6 so it was dark and the snowflake looked better. i also
passed by harry winston diamonds and they had a big light shining
directly at the store to make their diamonds more sparkly. then as i
was walking back to the subway there was a nba store. guys would have
loved that but i went it to look at the life sized yao ming bobble
head. then back home for a rest and out to eat with bro. we went to eat
in little italy at a restaurant called puglia. lots of singing and very
loud and happy. we walked around a little more. We found CBGB's but it
looked shady so didnt go in. after that. it was just a bunch of subways
rides back home.
okay that was a very long post for my taste but i havent updated in a
while so here's to you guys. hope you guys have a happy new year! see
yall in 2006!!

two straight weeks.... you get bored when you have a break in exams..
Okay maybe its just me, 'cause apparently im a nerd. after i finished
my exams i just did nothing.. watched some tv, watched sum shows that i
missed last week and then nothing.. i actually got bored!!! holy crap.
this is saaad. But the nerdiest thing of all was i went back to
studying. and i kept studying and forgot about the hockey game. by the
time i figured that out and saw ians message i didnt want to drive just

| i just came back from my cruise with my cousins. still in ontario tho... only till wednesday and ill be back in good ol' vancouver. the cruise was okay i guess. it didnt have a whole lot to do for us young ones unless you liked to eat. there was too much food. watching people gorge 24hours a day is mighty scary. lots of good food tho. definetly got tanned esp on my arms. i had a farmer tan when i was in new york and a major shoulder tan from wonderland but its better now. i look mostly normal up to the shoulders heheheh. crappy part of our cruise was when it rained at two of the ports we went to. we didnt get to do one of our snorkeling trips because of that... but all was well since we did it the day before by ourselves.
lots of funny stuff has happened.. alot of which is too salty wet to discuss here. gosh my cousins are awesome. i think i dirtied up one of our youngest cousins also. he's back in hk now so hopefully he will normalize there. but me, im still brewing in salty wetness. there was a waiter at the buffet that was watching me and my cousin put sunscreen on during one of the mornings and he kept saying "put creaaaaaaaaam" "good put more creaaaaaaam" in a thick romanian accent. you could tell this guy was a big ham sup lo. and for the rest of the trip everymorning we would walk around the boat saying "put cream" just like he did. damn that guy was funny tho. we have video of him too. hahaha.
my uncle, aunt and cousins have seen the other side of loretta. isnt that wonderful. most of you have already experienced this side so dont worry, your not missing anything that i havent done in van.
the line i will remember for the rest of my life: "its see through even if its not wet!" what a line for a father to say to his daughter eh?? awesome.
and to all you august babies out there. harpy barfday. thats to amy mich and whoever else who i dont love enough to remember their names. thank you very much
